Emergency Preparedness & Compliance
- ✔ On-Site Plan: The responsibility of the works management to formulate a site-specific emergency plan.
- ✔ Off-Site Plan: The responsibility of the district emergency authority to integrate and implement area-specific plans.
Regulatory Compliance – Section 41(B)(4) & Rule 13
On Site Emergency Plan :
- Every occupier must prepare a detailed emergency plan with disaster control measures for their factory.
- As per Rule 13 of the Manufacture, Storage & Import of Hazardous Chemicals Rules, 1989, occupiers must maintain an updated On-Site Emergency Plan outlining the procedures to handle major accidents.
- The plan must include personnel names responsible for safety management and authorized personnel to take action during emergencies.
