EOT - HOT Crane
we are a Competent Person Recognized under the Gujarat Factory Act , authorized to conduct inspection and certification of Lifting Tools and Tackles.
As per Section 29, Rule 60, we certify lifting equipment in Form-10, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Annual inspection of these machines is mandatory to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
Definition of Lifting Machines
Under this section/rule, lifting machines include:
- EOT (Electric Overhead Travelling Crane) – Electrically operated overhead cranes used for material handling in industries.
- HOT (Hand Operated Overhead Travelling Crane) – Manually operated overhead cranes used for lifting and moving heavy loads.
Both EOT and HOT cranes require yearly inspections by a Competent Person to ensure their structural integrity, load-bearing capacity, and operational safety.
